Lots and lots of dividers

Hi everyone!

I've been on a roll lately making dividers for each of my planners.

When I got the kikki.k planner, I knew I wanted it to have matching dividers so I took some matching notepad paper, cut them to size, and tabbed and laminated them.

I don't have a laminator, and when I get them done professionally, they're much too stiff for my liking, so I use clear contact paper instead and it works just fine.

I love that the colors match perfectly.  It took almost the whole morning but I'm happy with how they turned out.

The backs are made from the kikki.k packaging tissue.

Here's how they look in the binder.

And an update -- I was able to swap out my Antique Rose Finchley for a Teal, and I went and made dividers for it.  I used images I found online.

(If the images are yours, please let me know.  They should be free, but with the Web, who knows sometimes.  My apologies in advance.)

I printed out the reverse in black and white, just for some interest.

And lastly, Paris-themed dividers for the Fluoro Pink Original.  Image is the same front and back.

I had fun doing these, and I finally got the hang of making dividers.  I used to struggle with making them all even and cutting the tabs out perfectly.

If you have any-divider making tips, I'd be happy to hear them.

That's it for today, thanks for visiting!

  2. Craft Knife, scissors or guillotine cutter ? :) I cut my first one last night and used scissors but more than one would be painful :) I cut mine with tab in it... Might try attaching tab sticker. Contact is perfect I agree. Yours are gorgeous :)

    1. Hi, I use a Marrha Stewart paper trimmer but a guillotine would work to. Scissors and/or craft knife would just take too long and would not be as straight. And you want these to be straight.

    2. So many typos, ipad typing for you, sorry. Wanted to add I cut the tabs in too because adding tabs and making them even was a pain. I did that with the kikki.k and it took longer.
