Filofax Swap-Out Experiment

Hi everyone!

This post is about a daring  (to me at least) experiment that I've been mulling over, and I thought I'd give it a try.  Vanjilla and a few others have had success with this so I figured I'd join in and give it a go.

I've been a good girl!  I haven't bought a Filofax since July (yes, July!!) when I bought the Compact Chameleon.  Of course I've been lusting after several filofaxes since then, but haven't bought any, and it's because I have a few that are sitting in storage, lonely, cold, but not alone. (:  I really hate having stuff I don't actually use.  So, this is a shout-out to anybody out there with lonely and unused Filos of their own.

How about we swap Filofaxes ?!?  I listed below the ones I'm not currently using, and willing to let go of.  I will describe the condition of each one so that you have an idea of what you're getting.  I take care of my stuff and store them well, so most of these are in really great condition.  Of course, I can detail their condition if you need me to.  And oh, it'll be cheaper to ship them empty, and I know you all have your fair share of inserts, so just let me know if you want any inserts and I'll see if I have them.

Here goes.  (No Baroques though, sorry.)

Red Balmoral.  Great condition, some inserts cause these are harder to come by.

MINI
1  Ochre Malden.  Used a few weeks.
2  Black Portobello.  The strap on the Portobello is really long so the mini can be stuffed to the gills and still close.  (I've actually been on the hunt for a Personal-size hoping the strap will be the same, LOL)

POCKET
1  Brown Amazona, brand new and unused.
2  Brown Slimline Balmoral
3  Vintage Pink Malden (in exchange for the Ochre, hopefully, to match my beloved Personal Ochre)

PERSONAL
Lavender Cross/Classic. No peeling, great condition.  (I loved the Pink Classic so I thought I'd get another one but I just never use it.)

2013 Diary Experiment

(Updated to add that I found the stamps online but only in the US.)

Hi everyone!

Further to my 2013 Diary Dilemma, I'm conducting an experiment.

I got this stamp in Muji.  I've passed this up several times before, but this time, I decided to get it because the pens/refills I went there for were not in stock.  This was a good substitute.  (:

I stamped the facing page of next week's Dodopad diary.

Lines will be used for To-Do items

I took a page from a 2012 WO2P cotton cream diary and stamped close to the rings. There was some show-through but I can live with that.  I put a page in this week's diary to test it out.

I also stamped on the WO1P diary that's in my Chameleon.

Appointment on outside of each page.  To-do items close to the rings.

This last photo is with next week's spread with to-do items away from the rings.

I was more careful and made stamping more even.

And then, it occurred to me that the pages look similar to the Swedish WO2P.  Similar, yes, but different enough in usage.

The idea is to separate appointments and to-do items on each day to maximize the page.  Also makes it easy it easy for me to spot to-dos vs. appointments. Right away, my first impression is that this could be a lot of work stamping each page multiple times.  ):  All in the name of research!

What I love though is that I seem to have just doubled my writing space!

I have no idea whether it will work out, but I'll keep you posted.
