Like most Filofax enthusiasts, I have a stash of Post-its, sticky notes and tabs/flags that I use in my filo. I keep them in the first drawer of this rolling cabinet in my craft studio.

I like using Post-it and sticky notes for disposable note-taking and have them in a few places in my filo at all times.
I will always have them in the Notes section:
(1) In the stay-at-home filo,

. . . and back |
(2) And in the Chameleon. Right now, some are stuck to my pagemarker, like on this Martha Stewart one with her own brand on the front, and tiny and colorful Post-its at the back. These are from my sister and she stuck them on there herself. (Thanks dear!)

I also always put a few pages on my Blog section.
And these are my most used Post-its/Sticky notes.
I use these for removable labeling and highlighting.

And these are Parisian-themed, picked up for a song in a bazaar. I use the thinnest ones on top for the Registration Page.
Cute, practical and cheap (: |
I'm always tempted to buy more when I'm in a store, but I always restrain myself because I have this stash to go through first.
I also love tabs! Lately though, I've been making my own top tabs because I wanted a more uniform and cohesive look. I wrote about them here. I have some trouble aligning the top tabs and making them perfectly even (!), and sometimes I have to take them off to write something underneath it and it drives me bonkers.
I have a few of these that I haven't been using much lately. What has seen the most use are these Avery round tabs that I use as pagemarkers on all my filos. I love that they're round because it means I can put them on in any way and they would always be even (does that make sense?).

I love Martha's pastels ! |
I've been trawling the internet lately looking for creative ways to use these. I'd like to use them more.
That's it for now, thanks for visiting!
Love this post. I'm a big fan of these as well. You can never have too many post-its/stickies!
ReplyDeleteHi Carla! I completely agree, enough is never enough. (: Thanks for your comment.
DeleteI'm in complete agreement with you. I have so many tabs and sticky notes that I can't seem to use them enough BUT on the other hand, they are soooo nice that I don't want to use them up so then they just sit there! I now have two fly leafs in my personal FF with stickies on the front and back of each and am considering adding a third so that I can have even more of my collection with me!
ReplyDeleteHi DEM! I too tend to put a lot in my filos and use them a lot. It makes an 'excuse' to buy more. Maybe I should add more flyleaves like you have, LOL. Thanks for your comment!
DeleteSticky Note Heaven! LOL! The more choices the better, sticky notes inspire me, weird...or what!? Love all your photos!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like sticky notes. Thanks for the comment.
